Welcome to the energy expenditure and perceived health calculator.

This calculator allows you to determine the amount of physical activity needed to achieve a certain level of perceived health and reduce pain that prevents patients from performing daily activities. By entering simple personal data such as weight, height, and age, as well as an approximation of energy expenditure (in METs), the calculator will estimate the amount of energy required to reach the target health level (in the case of a deficit).

Once this energy requirement has been estimated, a list of recommended activities can be consulted by patients.

These calculations are based on a study carried out to address the need for more personalized physical activity prescriptions for patients. We hope this tool will be useful for professionals in this field and welcome your feedback. Thank you very much.
